At Staycation Breaks, the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members has always been incredibly important to us. To ensure we keep both our guests and teams safe, we are carrying out a rigorous, daily cleaning regime across all our parks. Sometimes this may mean a slightly later check in time, but we will always notify you if this is the case.
Our promise seeks to give you extra peace of mind.
Checking-in and social distancing
Minimising contact at reception, keeping social distancing measures in place and auto-dispense hand sanitiser is available in public areas.
Hygiene and anti-viricidal sanitising spray.
More frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, such as check-in areas, door handles and handrails, heating controls, TV remotes, door handles and tables and chairs.
Bed linen and shower curtains
Laundering all our linen at over 60 degrees, with disinfectant detergent so you can enjoy a safe and great night’s sleep.
Protective equipment for our teams
We’ve provided all our teams members with protective equipment including gloves, aprons and hand sanitiser. Whilst there is no government guidance on the need to wear face masks in a staycation setting, all our teams have been provided with face masks, empowering them with the choice if they wish to wear them.
If there is anything you need during your stay, just let one of the park team know.
What to do if you feel unwell
If during your stay you start to feel unwell and recognise any COVID-19 symptoms, please take the following actions to protect yourself and everyone around you:
Use the 111 online Coronavirus Service or call NHS 111 to seek medical advice.
Follow self-isolation guidelines.
Notify reception by phone from your lodge. Make them aware of the guidance you have received and where possible and safe to do so return to your own accommodation to complete your period of self-isolation.
We can’t enter your lodge to clean or change linen, but we can leave fresh linen outside your lodge upon request. We won’t remove any dirty linen or items from your lodge, so please keep these inside.
If you need to isolate in your lodge, please arrange for any food or supplies to be delivered to the park reception. We’ll leave any deliveries outside your lodge and knock on the door to let you know when it’s arrived. Any packaging or crockery must always remain inside your lodge.
We will provide you with a stock of bin bags. Please ensure all waste such as tissues, food containers etc, are placed into a bin bag, tied and then placed into a second bin bag, which should also be tied and left in the lodge until further notice.
Visitors to your lodge are not permitted unless they are authorised medical professionals.
When checking out, please leave the key inside the lodge and let us know at reception or by phone that you’re leaving.
